We are the leading online supplier of both new and refurbished laptops, laptop accessories and components in South Africa.

Our mission is to ensure that you, our customer gets the best quality hardware for the best possible price ensuring that quality laptops are available and affordable for all!

How come your laptops are so cheap?

We get asked this A LOT!

Well… Our laptops are not cheap! They’re just affordable (there’s a difference!). See, we source our laptops from USA and the UK, searching for the best possible deals and offers so that we can pass on those savings to you!

Also, we do not put HUGE markups on our products so you will always get the best possible deal from us.

Help! I don’t know what laptop to buy?

Our friendly consultants are always available to assess your needs and advise you on what laptop would work best for you. You can simply pop us an email on websales@thelaptopshop.co.za or use the live chat on our website to get hold of us and we will be there for you!

Are your laptops good quality?

We sell only the best and most well known brands. All our laptops, components and accessories are original products and we do not stock any knock-offs or fakes.

We post as much information as possible about each product and if you would like to know more you are welcome to contact us and we will give you all the info you need. Each laptop is tested before leaving our warehouse to ensure that our customers receive the quality they are paying for.

I can’t find what I want?

If you have a specific request you are welcome to contact us and we will source it for you. There is not a laptop we have not been able to find yet, and of course – we will get it at the best possible price for you.

How often do you get new stock?

We get new stock 1 to 2 times a week. At the moment our replenshments have slowed down a bit due to the Corona Virus affecting shipping from America and Europe but we do still have stock coming in. Everything you see on our website is currently in stock as well!

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

We ship throughout South Africa using Postnet Couriers. We have a good relationship with them and have found their services to be reliable.

For Cape Town orders, we hand deliver or have a collection point in Brakenfell.

How Long Will it Take To Get My Package?

If you paid via EFT your package will be shipped as soon as your funds clear. This usually takes 24 to 48hrs depending on your bank. After that you will typically receive your order within 2-5 working days.

If you paid via Credit or Debit card your order will be processed immediately with a delivery period of 2-5 working days.

How Do I Track My Order?

Once your order is shipped we will provide you with a tracking number that you will receive via email. You can use this tracking code on the PostNet website or you can call them with it for an update on your delivery.

Do I Need A Account To Place Order?

Yes, you will need to create an account. This will enable you to place your orders as well as refer to your past orders and manage your delivery addresses and personal information.

Do I get a warranty?

Yes! All our products carry a 3month to 2 Year warranty, depending on the product but it is specified on each product page. Should you receive defective equipment from the warehouse we will gladly repair it or replace it at our cost depending on the nature of the fault. We however do not cover any damage caused by the customer.
